Hi,
My name is Jacinta Obst and I have been a teacher for over 20 years. I have always loved literacy and have been assisting children to improve their reading, writing and spelling most of my life. I have a strong background working in special needs and inclusive learning and am currently a SPELD specialist teacher. I am a fully trained Sounds-Write Phonics tutor and all my programs are based on teaching explicit, structured and evidence-basedstrategies to learners for reading, writing and maths intervention.
I also run writing and book clubs for primary school-aged children where participants can experiment with literacy skills in a safe, fun environment. Groups are run during the day for homeschooled families and after school for everyone.
